A post-function that will unlink issues from the current issue based on the result of a Nunjucks condition.

To add 'Link Unlink issues to from the current issue' post-function to a transition : 

  1. Click Edit for the workflow that has the transition you wish to add the post-function on.
  2. In the Workflow Designer, select the transition.
  3. Click on Post Functions in the properties panel.
  4. Click on Add post function.
  5. Select Unlink issues from the current issue from the list of post-functions.

  6. Click on Add to add the post-function on the transition.

  7. Add a Nunjucks condition in the Condition.
  8. Select the Options provided to add required parameters.
  9. Click on Add to add the post-function to the transition.

When you add this post-function to a transition and trigger the transition, the add-on unlinks the current issue from all issues it is linked to, if the specified Nunjucks condition returns any text except false.

Condition: Input  

Input a Nunjucks

template that returns true or false. You can insert Nunjucks annotations in your condition to insert issue ans transition information.

Examples:

  • project = TEST, returns the issues of the project whose key is TEST
  • assignee is EMPTY returns all the unassigned issues.
  • project = project = PSDF and reporter = {{currentUser.name}}
  • project=TEST order by created desc

Max. Issues: Input the maximum number of issues that the JQL search should return. The value should not be more than 50.

Link type: Select the link type to be created between the current issue and the issues returned from the JQL search.

Customise

condition in Condition. If the template evaluates to any text except false or an empty string, then the issue link will be removed. Note that the condition will be evaluated for each linked issue and the post-function will not remove those that do not satisfy the condition. 

Examples:

  • {{linkTypeName == "blocks"}} returns true for all linked issues linked to the current issue with blocks link type
  • {{linkedIssue.fields.status.name == "Rejected"}} returns true for all linked issues linked of the current issue in Rejected status

Customize this post-function using the additional options provided as part of the post-function. The options are:

Run As

  • Run as current user

The current user will be the author of the removal of the field changeissue links.

  • Run as add-on user

The add-on user will be the author of the field change. author of the removal of issue links.

  • Run as this user

Any user selected in this field will be the author of the field change.
