JMWE administration pages
JMWE provides a new section of administrative tools. These can be accessed by following these steps:
- Log in to your JIRA Server instance as an administrator.
- Go to the Administration icon and click on it.
- Locate Add-ons from the menu and click on it.
- Locate JIRA MISC WORKFLOW EXTENSIONS on the left panel.

Getting Started with JMWE | This page provides an introduction to the add-on, lists the latest releases, and gives pointers to the JMWE documentation and support. |
JMWE Configuration | Configuration options for error handling (including control of who sees the error), displaying Transitions activity in Issue View, as well as log file configurations. |
Shared actions (since 7.0.0) | This page includes configurations for one or more post-functions (in a sequence) that can be reused across multiple workflows. |
Event-based actions (since 7.0.0) | Configure Jira to run one or more Post Functions (in a sequence) based on a specific change made to an issue(s). |
Scheduled actions (since 7.0.0) | Configure Jira to run one or more Post Functions (in a sequence) at scheduled intervals. |
Groovy console | Test Groovy scripts against Jira issues without needing to edit a workflow transition. |
Shared Groovy Scripts | Define global Groovy scripts that will be available from any Groovy script defined in Post Functions, Conditions, or Validators. See the documentation for an explanation of how to take advantage of shared scripts. |
Execution logs | This page details the executions logged by the JMWE add-on for the Jira Server/Data Center instance. |
